In 1984, R.E.M. Development was established by developer and entrepreneur, Bob Miller. R.E.M. has built and leased over 2,000,000 square feet of energy efficient distribution centers; manufacturing sites; warehouses and flex space, mostly in Chittenden County, making it Northern Vermont’s largest developer and lessor of commercial real estate.
We’ve expanded into a family owned and operated business with the creation of the Miller Realty Group in 1995 which operates in tandem with R.E.M Development. Bob’s son, Tim, joined daily operations in 1989 and daughter, Stephanie, in 2009.
